Geomagic Squares

A 4×4 self-interlocking square whose 16 pieces can be 'imploded' or squeezed together to result in a square framework or grid resembling an empty array of size 4×4. I find it amusing to ponder that any empty 4×4 array can thus be regarded as the imploded version of the geomagic square above. I can imagine that a stage magician might be able to harness this property to effect.
